Goldilocks of the brain! It's a phrase coined by Amy Arnsten, professor of neurobiology at Yale Medical School. And it is a mantra that all those who teach and train must be aware of. So, what does it mean and why is it important for us to consider when we develop the program outline? 1) Cognitive Load Theory – this explains the working memory, Cognitive Load and limitations of working memory.
2) Developing a Program outline – this explains the strengths of the working memory and how we can optimize it to design a effective program outline
