Instructional Design @ Work is an experiential and interactive learning course on Instructional Design for practitioners and learning consultants. It covers Training Needs Analysis (TNA) also known as Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) or Needs Assessment, learning solution design, approach note design, curriculum design, high-level course design, and detailed course design. The course will help you understand content chunking. It also addresses the following theories and frameworks: ADDIE, Working Memory limitations, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Merrill’s Content-Performance matrix, Keller’s ARCS, Gagne’s Events of Instruction and Kirk-Patrick’s Evaluation model. The course covers adult learning principles: behaviourist, cognitive, and constructivist learning theories.
